General Instructions for Using Gypsum Powder:

1) Preparation:

• Follow the manufacturer’s instructions regarding mixing time and speed.
• Gypsum should be mixed under vacuum where possible, using the correct water-to-powder ratio.
• For best results, ensure that the equipment is clean and free of residue before mixing the gypsum.

2) Water Mixing:

• Tap water can generally be used for mixing and should be allowed to remain at room temperature.
• Demineralized or distilled water can safely be used.

3) Cutting and Shaping:

When the surface of the stone loses its shine, it can still be roughly shaped for approximately one minute. After that, the setting time begins. At this stage, no further work can be carried out.
